Let's go back in time aways, back to when I was in high school and skiing on a very tight budget. You remember the times (this would be the mid to late 80's). Noone paid window price for a lift ticket. You could get discounts with your SkiAmericard, Ski Card International, World Ski Card, Gold-C book and others. Somewhere along the way, these things have fallen off the face of the Earth. Along with that, it has become increasingly more difficult to get discounts at places you might like to go. Sure, we all have season passes to our favorite mountain (well, we do if we live here), but what happens when you want to take a quick weekend getaway to Glenwood and check out Sunlight? You suck it up and pay full price, or try to arrange for tickets through your lodging provider.
Well, the days of the ski discount card are coming back. Mountain Sports Club is an online version of the old ski cards. It's usefulness doesn't end when the snow melts though. You get year-round, exclusive deals for all sorts of outdoor activities.
