Happy Thanksgiving. Hope there are some turns in the near future for you and yours.

If you are wondering why you don’t see a snow report for Wolf Creek on most mornings, it’s because they take quite a while to update their data with Ski Country. I don’t know why it takes them so long, but this problem has been going on for years. I may revert to showing their 3pm report from the prior day until they update the current day.

OK, I think I have the snow reporting issues worked out from Vail Resorts. You should see Keystone and Breckenridge, then Vail and Beaver Creek when they open up. This is now one of the few places to see snow reports for ALL of the Colorado ski areas.

Happy Birthday to my wife, Jennifer.

I have to admit, the ski show was a bit disappointing this year. Sure, I got to see Glen Plake, Billy Kidd and Seth Masia, but it just didn’t have the same vibe that I remember from the last time I went (8 or 9 years ago). I guess it is the fault of the Internet. It makes information so readily available to so many people on their terms. Fortunately, most business have figured this out and have very informative websites. But still, it is nice to talk to someone once in a while…

This weekend is the annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo. I haven’t been to one of these in years, but will be attending tomorrow evening. If you’ve never been, you should go. It’s a pretty interesting thing and will get you even more amped for the coming season. More info at http://www.onthesnow.com/bewi/denver.
