OK sports fans, the next KBPI “Hump Day Hookie” is NEXT Wednesday, March 5 at Breckenridge. I’ll be there. Could be my last day of the season. Taking the boat in to the shop today to get the last repairs done to have it ready for spring and summer.

Seems like the season has really just started rocking and rolling, and I am already seeing articles in the local papers about when the resorts are going to be closing. Not many of them are moving off their scheduled dates, which is unfortunate. I hate when Easter comes early, it just makes the problem worse.
I am experimenting with the addition of YouTube video to this site, to go along with the flickr images and other things I have been trying. Haven’t gotten to the CDFOT road stuff yet (bigger project than expected), but I am still going to do something with it. In the meantime, go check out a video.
It’s a powder hounds worst nightmare - complete powder day (12″ at A-Basin and Vail, 11″ at Breck) and I-70 is closed. Ouch. Glad I got my powder day in on Wednesday.
